Advice for Those Who Hate Doing the Laundry

9.9 out of 10 people who are asked whether they like washing laundry will reply, “No!” However, the more you put off doing the laundry, the worse it becomes, especially if you truly detest doing it.

It increases the laundry pile and makes wash day even more of a misery.

Laundry is our way of life here at Royal Monarch Laundry! We are experts and are aware of the shortcuts and methods that will simplify your laundry day.

For those who detest washing laundry, check out these wash and fold laundry techniques.

Tip #1: Get a head start on the laundry.

Preventive maintenance is the focus of this stage.

It’s not necessary to do laundry “all or nothing.” Break up your laundry pile into smaller, more manageable loads throughout the week rather than letting it get out of hand.

Plan a regular schedule of “incremental laundry” to help you get into the “habit of doing laundry.” As a result, washing laundry becomes simpler since you do it on autopilot every few days rather than stressing over the growing pile in your closet.

Try to plan your regular washing around activities you do every day, such as eating supper, getting ready in the morning, or coming home at night. This will make it easier for you to arrange your laundry around your own schedule so that you don’t have to put all of your time and effort into it.

Tip #2: Arrange your clothing beforehand.

Arranging your clothing takes time and is a hassle. Because of this, Royal Monarch Laundry sorts our customers’ laundry for them.

We advise having your own laundry organised in several bins so that it is already sorted when you wash your laundry.

Although you will be washing your dark and light colours separately and your towels and linens separately, carefully sorting your clothing will keep it looking fresher.

Sorting as you put dirty clothes in the hamper will make your next washing day a little bit simpler.

Tip #3: Take your time while folding.

At Royal Monarch Laundry, we fold clothing with care for our customers. We aim to regularly provide folded laundry thanks to our skilled folders.

Although if it seems like a laborious process, having your clothes properly folded after doing the wash aids you in putting your items away. Also, having wrinkle-free bedding allows you to sleep better and your clothing to look better when you’re ready to wear them.

Tip #4: Get Some Help!

A difficult activity is usually made simpler when you have assistance. After all, four hands are always preferable than two, particularly when washing laundry. Just leave your soiled garments outside of your door to complete the task. Your laundry will be picked up, washed, folded, and returned to you in a way that makes it easy to store.

It’s not necessary to hate doing laundry. In our blog, we have a ton of advice for making laundry simpler and less time-consuming.
